Amplify young voices
Kili Kids Climate Day is a unique educational climate awareness event tailor-made for approximately 200 students in local secondary schools. The heart of the Climate Days' mission is to amplify young voices and inspire collective action for a sustainable future.
Due to the success of our Kili Climate Days Festival, we bring this energising event directly into schools. This programme consists of factual stories and hands-on workshops where students learn how to adapt to climate change, improve their environment, and gain the confidence and knowledge to sow seeds of action, prompting them to share their awareness with their families and communities.
Guided by the message "The Future is in Our Hands", students will also receive our extra-curricular student book of the same name, equipping them with practical knowledge about climate change and ecological responsibility.
The initiative aligns with national environmental efforts led by Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu Hassan and the Ministry of Environment within the President's Office.

Programme
Kili Climate Days can be organised as either a half-day or full-day programme. Schools may choose 1–2 workshops for a half-day programme, or 3–4 workshops for a full-day programme.
The programme offers a flexible menu of hands-on climate workshops alongside storytelling and an environmental documentary, The Chameleon Corridors. Told through the all-seeing eyes of a chameleon, the short film shows how a community in Tanzania's Eastern Arc Mountains strives to restore one of the world's most biodiverse forests. The documentary was filmed in Tanzania by local partners Afrisos, the African School of Storytelling. Sponsored by My World Film Grants, Amber Jack Films, and Schoolyard Films.

Collaboration
Kili Kids Climate Days is the result of a strong collaboration between Greenmanjaro, volunteers, local schools and partners who share a vision of youth-led transformation.
The voices, energy and inspiration from these young participants ripple across the Kilimanjaro region, carrying a clear message:
The future is in their hands. They are the Kili Heroes!
Stitching Pharus sponsors this event.
