Empowerment is at the heart of sustainable impact
Thanks to the generous support of Stichting Pharus, our Roots & Shoots Kili Green Hub team leaders, Dismas, Nurdin and Brenda, are receiving tailored online empowerment coaching from Kim Francken.
Kim and her partner, Nacho, were wonderful volunteers at the Kili Green Hub last summer, spending three weeks working closely with the team.
During their time together, Kim and the Roots & Shoots volunteers identified key project management skills to strengthen the Hub's daily operations and support the delivery of Greenmanjaro’s Climate Care projects in collaboration with Jane Goodall Institute.
Building confidence, structure and practical skills
This year, Kim will provide seven online training sessions as part of our empowerment programme, helping the team build confidence, structure and practical skills for lasting local impact.
